As you may or may not know, lately I’ve been a blogger. I always knew I had the heart of a poster, but I didn’t know I had blogging in me. If I type the word “blog” one more time, it will stop having any meaning. That’s called “Jamais Vu.”
Oh and also I’ve been making more of those T-Shirt designs that sell poorly. Check them out. But without further ado, here are some articles I’ve written in the past few months. Give them a click because in the media economy of 2023, clicks are their bones and the bones are their money.
Underwater cars: How James Bond’s Lotus Espirit inspired a real-life car submarine
For my new gig at Acceleramota, I wrote about submarine cars — for no reason in particular.
Eschewing miniatures, filmmakers enlisted Perry Oceanographics to build a functional submarine out of an Espirit S1 shell — which they nicknamed “Wet Nellie” because it was the 70s and everyone was a little gross back then.

In the mid-to-late 00s, Mario Kart found its way into every aspect of my life. Around that time, my band was playing an all-ages show at a church in Allston, MA. We were opening for a group called New Years Day, who – and I’m not throwing shade here – were huge on Myspace.

I’ve written a handful of Elon pieces for KnowTechie but this one was the most painful because it required me to read long stretches of a transcript of Musk’s actual words.
It’s clear that Elon Musk is becoming radicalized by the Blue Check army he has recruited. We are likely witnessing one of the first examples of someone being fully echo-chambered out of their own fortune.
